need help setting up for 1st time windows mail

I need the pop and smtp names and ports for access to windows livemail or
hotmail for these, so far pop. port 25 and smtp port 110 dont work

anyone knows how to setup windows mail to work with hotmail or live mail?

You can now access Hotmail/Msn/Live accounts via POP3 (email is
downloaded to your computer).

Windows Mail is coded to reject Hotmail addresses, but you can fool it by
entering a fake address ([email protected]), then renaming it after the
account is set up ([email protected]).

Or use the newer Windows Live Mail.
