need help please

I just installed office xp pro........when i try to open outlook i get the
message:"failed to register a VB script.dll. reinstall or run regsvr32.exe
Vbscript.dll to self register. the key "display name" is either missing or
has an incorrect value." then says "operation failed" and closes.........I
tried reinstalling and I also tried to run regsvr32.exe without any
luck......can somebody please tell me how to fix this problem?......thanks in
advance for the help.....On and my computer is a sony viao 2.66 P4 and my OS
is win xp home

thansk i tried that but it didn't work........and i didn't understand the
last post about the simple fix any other ideas?
 
also for some reason i can't use my system restore everytime i try it just
says it was unsuccessful
