Need Help Looking For A Book C++

I realize that this is not the forum for this question. I have recently
downloaded free software from Microsoft / Microsoft C++ 2008 Express Edition.
I am interested in the program. This software comes with tutorials but they
are brief or only take you so far. Anyone, is there a book on this subject
together as an introductory and intermediate levels. Something that does not
go into very large mathmatical problems. I have tried google search and
online bookstores with no luck. If anyone would have a suggestion. Thank
you.

Why not ask the experts in a C++ newsgroup?
