Need help finding a formula.

Hi,

I need some help how I could tackle this problem using excel 2002.

I deal with customers on a daily basis.
Every day the number of customers that I deal with are variable. One
day I deal with 20 the next 50 and the next only 10, so it is
different everyday.
The company has a goal that everyone needs to achieve.

Basically they want the employees to perform a certain service to
customers and the goal is basically for every 100 customers we deal
with, the company expects us the employees to do the service to at
least 10 customers.

I am the kind of person that likes to set goals and what makes this
one difficult for me to solve is because I dont know at the end of the
month how many customers I will deal with.
All I know is that for 100 customers I need to achieve at least 10
services.
Before it was a hard target so it was easy to track. I kept a log of
the past 23 worked days and with it could make some nice stats.

How would you solve this problem?
How can I set realistically a monthly goal?
Cheers.

Base your goal on the percent of customers getting service rather than the
total number.
