Need Help - Cannot Access Internet Camera After Logging On

I apologize if this shows up twice. I was knocked of the internet when I
tried to send this previously.

I really need help. I am not well versed in XP and its firewall and I am
floundering trying to solve this problem. I have uninstalled Symantec /
Norton - everything that was installed, and turned off the XP firewall but
those actions have not helped.

I am attempting to access a TRENDNet Internet Camera Server. I can log in
but then the page that should load asking if you wish to use ActiveX or Java
does not come up. The green status indicator at the right bottom part of my
screen looks like it gets half way finished
and nothing happens. I can access the page using an old Compaq PC running
Windows 98SE, so I am thinking that a setting in my new Dell Windows XP
service pack 2 PC must be blocking the page. One other piece of info - the
Dell PC only has Sun Java. Please help.

Don't disable your firewall unless you're behind another one (hardware
appliance).
Have you tried adding the IP address or hostname of this device to your
trusted sites in IE and making sure the security on that zone is set to Low?

Sorry. I am having connection problems, too, like I have not had in a long
time.

I added the IP address to trusted sites in IE but I did not set the security
on that zone to Low. I will try that and see what happens. Thanks for the
reply.
