Jeremy

Hoping some one will be kind enough to send me via e-mail
the following dll file from a Win XP Pro SP1a machine:
C:\windows\system32\msdart.dll

E-mail address (e-mail address removed)

This file seems to be corupted on my system and I can't
boot it now, also can't use the file off my win XP disc as
I get an error of procedure entry point GetIUMS could not
be found in a dynamic link library msdart.dll with the
msdart file off the xp disc. I'm hoping by getting a copy
of one from a SP1a machine it will fix the problem.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Jeremy, although someone might be kind enough to send it to you,
these days one would have to be extremely foolhardy to accept an
executable file sent by a stranger on the internet. Although
anyone who sent it would probably send a clean copy without a
virus, you have no way of knowing that and it's not worth taking
the risk.

Do a google search on msdart.dll and you'll find lots of info,
including solutions to your problem and sites from which to
download the file.

Copy the MSDART.DLL from Windows\ServicePackFiles folder
to Windows\System32 folder should resolve this issue.

a more detailed path
C:\Windows\ServicePackFiles\i386 - MSDART.DLL
