I think I have exhausted most options to find an answer regarding this.
I have a Dell E510 that has a port on the mother board that is marked in
the manual as being a port for the USB Media Reader. It also says it
is an type F_USB port. My question to you is it truly a USB 2.0 port or
is it some proprietorial port only on a Dell E510. Also how do I know
which direction the cable plugs in? I know a normal port is wired like
this below.
+5VDC * * +5VDC
DATA- * * DATA-
DATA+ * * DATA+
--GND * * GND
----- * * S-GND
I would appreciate someone to supply this information since Dell
support doesn't know anything that isn't part of the script.
