Need advice/info about Excel...

You'd think I could get help for this at school, but nope, so hopefully
someone here can give me direction.

My statistics book came with software that requires "Excel '95 or higher"
I'm running Win XP, so I'd want the newest version of Excel, and thought I
found it here:

"Microsoft Office Excel 2003 Full Version"- for $220,

but then I noticed:

"Microsoft Office 2003 Student and Teacher Edition"- for $120

All the software requires is "Excel", but is the version in the
Student/Teacher a "full featured" copy, or is it somehow toned down, and I'd
be better off with Office Excel?

Much thanks to anyone who can help.

There are only two versions of Excel - one is a Professional version that
includes XML support, and the other one doesn't. You are unlikely I would
think, to be utilising the XML portion, and the Student & Teacher version is an
excellent bargain for someone in your situation, especially given that you get
the other Office Apps with it and not just Excel. Under the EULA, you are also
able to install it on up to 3 PCs at your home. Go for it - Well worth it!!!
