Need access to an unaccessible drive

Jon

Probably through too much dust and heat, my main Windows 2000
installation is no longer accessible. I have 2 physical drives, the
first divided into C and D, the second divided into E, F, and G. I
installed a second W2K O/S on Drive G. This is (slowly) bootable and,
under it, drives D, E, F and G are accessible, but Drive C not,
although all
five are available in Disk Management under the second W2K system.

I don't suppose a restoration of my main system will be possible, but
what can I do
to recover data from Drive C?

Thanks.

Jon

Hello Jon,

Use a BartPE or Knoppix cd/dvd and boot from it . You can access on this
way all your disks and connect a USB drive to copy your files.

Best regards
