Need a timeline/template with arrows/boxes/branches in PowePoint

Novice at PowerPoint, but need a template or a suggestion on what to use. I
need lines to boxes, that branch out for sub tasks.
Using PowerPoint 2003.

Have you tried the Autoshapes from the Drawing toolbar?
If you dont have the Draw toolbar open you can do so:
Right click anywhere on any toolbar and select the Draw toolbar...

Try AutoShapes > Flowchart and AutoShape > Connector

For PowerPoint 2002/XP and above,
Try Insert > Diagram. See if that is what you want. (Try Radial Diagram or
Org Chart)
