Need a scheduler to open up a webpage, sign in etc - with macros

Is this possible to run a windows scheduler that will open up IE or
firefox, go to a url, log in and then click one of the buttons on the
page? I am assuming that windows task scheduler can open up the url,
but as far as macros to run the rest, I am unsure if this is
possible. Any ideas? Also something freeware or opensource would be
great.

Thank you

No need to assume. Just try it.

"The Proxomitron" (freeware) or "Proximodo" (opensource freeware clone of
Proxo) can be used to login and click buttons on the web page. Both work
with any browser capable of talking to a proxy server (IE, FF, Opera, ...)

Greasemonkey (FF extension) might be able to.
