Need a euro when W2K starts

I changed the administrator's access password today. I included the
euro symbol. This was accepted by W2K. Later, when I rebooted, I found
that the AltGr key doesn't work on this Spanish keyboard while the OS
is loading. (Obviously the keyboard drivers haven't been loaded yet.)
The AltGr symbols can be reproduced under the ALT+(ascii code), but I
can't find the code for the euro symbol.

Any suggestions?

It might be easier to just use a password reset utility.
