Yup so "Black Friday" the biggest shopping day with £££££ Trillions being spent on products you might not normally buy, but do buy as they are greatly reduced. So the question is has anyone got an eye on a bargain on the net or on the high street?

Yup so "Black Friday" the biggest shopping day with £££££ Trillions being spent on products you might not normally buy, but do buy as they are greatly reduced.

Well, that reminds me of the old saying, which is very true.


A man will pay £2 for a £1 item he needs.
A woman will pay £1 for a £2 item that she
doesn't need but it's on sale.

I am, of course, thinking of my own good lady.

Things

What happened is, we grew lonely
living among the things,
so we gave the clock a face,
the chair a back,
the table four stout legs
which will never suffer fatigue.

We fitted our shoes with tongues
as smooth as our own
and hung tongues inside bells
so we could listen
to their emotional language,

and because we loved graceful profiles
the pitcher received a lip,
the bottle a long, slender neck.

Even what was beyond us
was recast in our image;
we gave the country a heart,
the storm an eye,
the cave a mouth
so we could pass into safety.

Under 12hrs to go...local Sainsburys opening early for the rush of people.
I shall be in bed when it starts & dont intend to fall for the sales ploy.
