Navigation structure lost on import to frontpage 2003

I am using netfusion mx (normal html I think) and importing my web structure
to frontpage.

The import seems to fetch files but does not retain the navigation links or
structure of the website, i end up with a few links to subdirectorys
(domains) and ALL the other links go into hyperlinks to the left of the index
home page.

How can I capture the same structure as it is posted and working on my web
site so that I can move over to frontpage 2003.

Thank You
Michael

Don't use import
- it does no better than File Save as from the browser
(with all pages linked to the starting page)
If the site had the FP SE then Open the live site running the FP SE in FP and Publish it to your PC
If the site did not have the FP SE use a FTP program to download the whole site and create a new FP site from the folder you
download the site to

I don't have the frontpage Se on yahoo - though they say they are working on
it.

I cannot even load a new website without specifing import in FP, however
after I do the import I selected FTP as the method and that faied, then tried
to do it manually and got error messages like: "ZE xxxxx.htm not understoon"
:500 could not understand" and it ended up in a gigantic mess. these ftp
commands look like maybe they are FP extensions that Yahoo doesn't understand.

My last attempt was to use netfusion to publish locally to where the FP
could read and hopefully convert but ended up with the navigation bars all
turned into hyperlinks.

So I am STILL stuck with a disrupted website from Fusion and can't even
convert easily to frontpage!, isn't there a simply way to import and follow
the tree structure down as a user might peice by peice.
