Navigation buttons gone

Recently upgraded from FrontPage 97 to FrontPage 2003.

A few months ago I moved our web site to a different
hosting service. Since then I haven't had the need to
edit the site. But now that I do, I find that
FrontPage 97 doesn't work with the new service. Every
time I try to connect I get an error. The new service
suggested I upgrade FrontPage, which I did.

Now I can get connected, but when I opened a page the
shared borders have disappeared. I inadvertently
saved the page I was working on and now my site has
no shared borders.

When I open the copy I have locally, the buttons are
there and the navigation view displays correctly. So
I published my local site to the remote site (without
any errors) but when I open the remote site the
navigation buttons are still not there and the
navigation view shows only the page I have open. If
I have no page open then navigation view shows only
index.html and it says to add navigation buttons to
these pages select Format / Shared Borders but it's
grayed out.

When editing the page I can see some text where the
buttons should be. It says: Edit the properties for
this link bar to display hyperlinks here. But nothing
I do displays the buttons.

Can anyone give me a clue?

TIA,

Jordon

Check that your home page file name is correct for your hosted server
- rename your local home page filename to that required by your host

Thanks for the tip but I ended up (in navigation view)
dragging the pages back to where they should be and
everything's back to normal.
