I am publishing changes to our church website at
http://www.pennvalleychurch.com

I was using FrontPage 2000 but was experiencing problems with the navigation
bar links in the shared borders being altered when I published the site to
my local hard drive for editing. At the suggestion of the web site
administrator, I bought FrontPage 2003, but am still having the same
problem.

If you look at the navigation bar at the left of the homepage, then look at
the edited page I uploaded,
http://www.pennvalleychurch.com/SermonNotes/SermonNotes.htm, you can see
what happens to the content when I import from the remote site to the local
site on the hard disk for editing. I only uploaded the changed pages so the
whole site would not be affected.

It seems as though the theme is not being downloaded or perhaps a problem
with a style sheet.

I am a beginner with FrontPage 2003, as the last time I used FrontPage was
back in late 1996 and early 1997! Things have become more complicated!

If the remote site has the FP extensions, then do NOT use the import function, instead you must open
the site directly in FP on the remote server using File Menu | Open Web / Site, then you must
publish to your local machine, make your changes and then publish back to the remote server via FP's
http mode using File Menu | Publish Web / Site.
