Nav buttons don't showup

I have just changed the theme on my website. I upload via
ftp and made sure the themes etc folders were uploaded
but the nav buttons show up only as boxes with 'x'.
Nothing else on the local website site shows up as
changed or in conflict. What am I doing wrong and how do
I get it to upload all of the theme?

Did you upload the entire web site via FP's FTP functions or via a 3rd Party
FTP application?

I have now done a full Publish website and all is working
apart from the picture in the shared borders that won't
stay there??

Is the picture a background for the shared border? If so then the site must
be publish via FP's http mode to a server that has the FP 2002 extensions
installed.

Many thanks, my server does not have FP extensions so it
won't work and I'll have to think of something else.
