I am running Windows 2000. Several weeks ago my defrag
program began checking my floppy drive every time I
started it. It just keeps looking at the drive for
something. If I put a floppy disk in it will stop and
allow me to continue normally to defrag my hard drive. At
one time I had found a help request by someone else with
the exact same problem, no one was able to help him
either. I figure somewhere in the registry, defrag looks
for a list of available volumes to defrag and loads this
list when it starts.....but why should my floppy drive be
in the list? Please help. Email me directly, ted
(e-mail address removed)

Thanks to you all

This is all I could find for the moment:

http://www.jsiinc.com/SUBE/tip2300/rh2349.htm

But it doesn't help much. But I'll keep thinking about it.
