This group is not for MC++ only. It's for VS.NET C++ compiler.

Maybe you're looking for:
comp.lang.c++.moderated
comp.lang.c++
On your local NNTP server.

You can certainly post questions about native C++ here. There's also
microsoft.public.vc.language, if you'd prefer a group that doesn't have
'dotnet' in the name.

But note that the product team concentrates on this newsgroup more.

The .Net in the name has to do with the product name of the last 2 Visual
C++ product releases, not with the fact of whether you target the .NET
framework.
