naming objects

It would be useful to have the ability to name objects on a PowerPoint slide
the same way they can be named on Access forms. This will help reduce
confusion on complex slides with many custom animations.

Hello Jay,
Until Microsoft makes this feature available in Powerpoint, there is a
very useful free download "Rename Shape/Slide add-in" at-
http://skp.mvps.org/download.htm
If you have questions about installing an addin, a text file is in the
package.
Also for purchase is Shyam's Toolbox at-
http://skp.mvps.org/toolbox/index.html
It has a plethora of treatments for the ailing slide, shape, object,
etc.
RnR PPTools at-
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptools/
has a free starter kit and others that you can buy.
With these you can name and rename to your hearts content.
Good luck,
Eldon
