#name in running sum

Hi am using Access 2003,

trying to create a report with a running sum in the detail section.
I have 2 fields that are calculated from a query. One has runningsum=no the
other runningsum=over group.

The one with the running sum over group is giving a #name error. It did not
work when I tried changing it to another name. I tried creating a duplicate
field in my query with a different alias name, that did not work.

When I tried to change runningsum=no, the error went away.

I have never seen this problem before....does anybody have any clue?

Cheers,
David

Sounds as if the control source of that "runningsum = yes" control contains
a field/control name that exists more than once in the form. Often this
occurs when you drag a field from the FieldList onto the form and then
change its control source to something other than the original field name;
in this case, ACCESS doesn't know whether you want to use the value from the
field or from the control.
