Hello All:

Is there a way I can rename an existing named range (in a name box)?

Thank you for your kind help.

Not that I know of. You have to go through the menu
(Ctrl+F3).

You can't rename, just add (and delete of course)

Be careful:

- changing the name in the define name name dialog and pressing enter
generates a new name.
- if you then delete the old name any reference to the old name in formulae
and charts etc will give a #Name Error
