N T Authority System

I'm writing for my brother who is running Windows XP Home
Edition. When logging onto the internet he immediately
gets a message saying the computer will shutdown as
initiated by the N T Authority system. Can anyone explain
what this is and how it can be corrected? It worked fine
for 2 days but now he cannot stay online for more than 1-2
minutes. Thanks for any help.

Also enable Windows XP's built in firewall:

To stop the reboots: Go to Start/Run and type in: services.msc. Scroll down
to Remote Procedure Call (RPC)/Logon/First Failure/Restart the Service.

Then close Windows Explorer, End Process in the Task Manager for
msblast.exe, run the edit on line 257 then run the patch listed below it:
