Hello... I have been using my main computer XP PRO SP2 as a remote desktop
server, and connecting from another computer from my LAN or even from
online...

It has worked great for a long time. All of a sudden I tried to do it
again..
and I could not... All I got was the message :

The client could not connect to the remote computer. Remote connections
might not be enabled or the computer might be too busy to accept new
connections. It is also possible that network problems are preventing your
connection. Please try your connection again later. If the problem continues
to occur, contact your administrator.

-I tried disabling - enabling RDP from right click my computer> properties
with no luck
-I have looked to see if terminal services are running, and they are, and
dependencies too.
-I have disabled firewalls with no result
-I have tried sfc - scannow with no change
-I have tried system restore with no luck
-I have looked in the event viewer for some error.. but nothing there
related...
-I have checked my IP and its the same....

All these dont work even when I try from a computer in the other room that
is connected via LAN.

Does ANYONE have an idea what may be wrong or how to troubleshoot this???

Thanx in advance

Yes I know that page.. I went through it, but it was of no help.
I fixed the problem with the oldest restore point I had...

thanks

Check to see if your running anything like NAV 2005 worm protection or
OneCare Live Beta or etc.
