MySql-ODBC on Windows-XP very slow

Hello,

Since i use MySql with Windows XP the connection witch Access (97 or XP) is
unusable.
I wait 2mn to go to the last record (Ctrl-PgDn) insteed of 5sec. under
Windows 98se :-(.

Any Idee?

The 2 things I'd check first is my ODBC driver, and my anti-virus program.
Make sure the driver is the correct one for your system. Make sure that
anti-virus programs do not scan the traffic to MySQL.
