My windows XP is all messed up

My windows xp is all messed up! IT says that I am
missing a file called ntoskrnl.exe, and wouldn't load up
windows! I went to an online site that told me how
to "repair it", but now whenever I start windows, I get a
blue screen that says that "we are sorry for the
inconvenience, but there was a problem loading windows";
whatever option I choose to start windows in (ie. safe
mode, etc.) ends up restarting my computer...and i can
never get into my windows desktop.

Does anyone know how to fix the problem????

Thanks!!

Mark.

P.S. can u email me at (e-mail address removed) with a reply?
thanx.

.
Boot to your XP CD, and if you don't have one, just try
to borrow one just to use for a repair. Then if R is hit
early during the welcome to setup, it gives the Recovery
Console, which you can try to use to fix this, or just do
a repair type re-install of XP.
