My Windows Live Mail Receiving does not work

My Windows Live Mail works very well for sending, but in receiving it
doesn't work with the following error:
Your POP3 server has not responded before 60 seconds
What should I do?

When you get that warning, click Cancel, which will then produce
an error message. Right-click on your error message, copy, then
paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.

Also, which antivirus are you running? Some of them cause problems
with Windows Mail over time.
