My Videos Shortcut

Hi,

There's a shortcut in Explorer called "My Videos" but I can't access it - I
get "access denied". I even created a folder in Documents called My Videos
but Vista stuck it in that My Video shortcut. So how do I access My
Videos??? Is there a way to stick it on the start menu like Pictures Games
Music etc??

Thanks in advance

Don't try to use the folders that start with "My"... they aren't folders,
they are junction points.
Use the folders under your user account, like c:\users\youraccount\Videos
Pictures, Documents, etc.

Someone noted that references with the My Prefixes are actually junction
points for older applications that developed to search for those specific
locations when saving content. Use the content shell explorers located under
x:\Users\Your_Username\Videos
