my speaker constantly beeps when switched on - help

my speaker (brand:hama) is constantly beeping even so he is also playing every sound file. I already switched off system sound and I have honestly no idea what is causing it. I dont use a modem so what could it be

Set your microphone to Mute, you're getting "feed-back" from it
Rightclick Sound icon (probably next to clock bottom righthand corner
Open volume Control and tick the Mute button under Microphon
If microphone is not listed, click Options (top left) and check Advanced Controls.

This may sound too simple, but check your keyboard for a stuck key.
