My receive e-mail stopped suddenly

I've been using the same laptop for over a year with Outlook 2003 configured
as my e-mail client. All of the sudden I started getting an error on the
Incoming e-mail. I've tried reseting the e-mail account several times and
tested the settings and all checks out, but when I click the send/receive, I
get the following receive error:
Task 'WPL - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC90) : 'Your incoming (POP3)
e-mail server has reported an internal error. If you continue to receive this
message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider
(ISP). The server responded: -ERR problem retrieving message.'

Sending e-mail works fine.

As the error message states, the incoming mail server has an INTERNAL error.
Please contact your ISP and report this error to them. Said another way,
your ISP's mail server is broke, you should let them know.

That's what I initially thought as well, however I can view my mail via web
mail and others within my company, who are on the same server, are having
ZERO problems with getting their e-mail via Outlook.

All of which has NOTHING to of with your problem. Webmail uses an entirely
different interface than Outlook and other accounts have different
mailboxes. I repeat, the error message you are receiving is coming from
your ISP and they are, therefore, the folks to talk to.
