If your computer is set to Classic mode, a .bmp is the only
image type you can use.

If you right mouse your desktop
properties
web
check the box
OK out and now you can select .jpg and others for a screen
saver.
To make them rotate, you need to go find a
shareware/freeware program like Webshots
You can find it on Google and I believe it is free.
To set it up right click on desktop, point to Active Desktop
click New Desktop Item, and use the URL used to complete the
Webshots file.

in message How do you set my pictures to use as a screen saver?

I believe that is an option available IF you are using Windows XP or ME
as the operating system. This NG deals with Windows 2000 and that is not
a feature. If you have Windows 2000, then a 3rd party software may be
aquired and installed to allow you to do this.
