My Pictures -View Slide Show

Prior to having a problem with my computer, I was able to View Slide Show
with My Pictures, since having it repaired, I can't access "View Slide Show".
i open My Pictures but the "Picture Tasks" side bar is not there and I can't
figure out how to restore it and use "View Slide Show".

After reviewing the site postings, I tried running "REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL"
which did not help.

Try opening a folder and go to...
Tools / Folder Options / Show common tasks in folders...
Apply / OK.

After reviewing other postings, I found one that helped and I am now in
business. The solution was to "right click on a folder in My Pictures and
then on Properties and then on Customize and enable the Picture Tasks Side
Bar. Jim Davis
