I can't get any e-mails to go through now. so I'm hoping this will get
posted. Bell South tech support (I have Windows XP) took me to:
tools>int. opt>type bellsouth in homepage> delete cookies>delete
temporary files>programs>clear history. My profile was not changed.

Yesterday another tech took me to the int. opt. and had me click on
advanced and then on the restore defaults at the bottom right corner of
this window.I don't know how to search a file extension and neither do
any of the techs I've spoken with so far.

Start > Search > Search by any or all of the criteria below > All or part of
the file name > Type a star followed by a dot followed by the file
extension.

For example, to search for all files on your hard disc with the extension
'jpg', type: *.jpg

Let's just hope that the camera system did not park the
pictures that were taken in the temporary internet files
folder. If it did, then flushing the temporary internet
files folder would certainly delete the picture files. One
needs to really know where an application is moving files
and why to this location and not another. This should never
be done blindly or on trust (because what the programmer had
intended and what the user wanted may be different.)

Good luck on the search. I suggest expanding the search to
also include the *.tif file extension (see Ted Zieglar's
earlier post).
