My Pictures has defaulted to new F drive

Hello
I have recently installed a new hard drive which has been allocated the letter F. I backed up the My Pictures folder to the F drive but have continued to edit it in the C drive. Now, whenever I go to My Pictures from the Start menu I'm taken to the F drive. Does anyone know how I can make it go into the C drive instead as a default? Thanks
John

John,

You've accidentally relocated or redirected the My Pictures target to F:\ drive. [You may have dragged it or a Cut operation].

Right-click My Pictures folder "Cut" and "Paste" to the target directory [My Documents, inside where it was originally]. The My Pictures [and it's registry entry] are redirected automatically.

Windows XP stores the location of per-user special folders (including favorites path) here:
[HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders]
Alternately, you can change the path there. Or, use TweakUI and change the location of Special folders.

TweakUI v2.00 for Windows XP/XP MCE [564 KB].

TweakUI v2.10 for Windows XP SP1/XP MCE/2003 [147 KB].
