my password

i can't log on to my computer as adminstr. i must have
forgot my password, i didnt make a disk./it will only let
me log as guest. please help

I think you have to contact Microsoft by phone to resolve this problem. You
will need XP's OEM number or product number etc.

For obvious reasons, it is not possible to dig into the registry, for
intstance, to cancel out passwords.

Otherwise, I think it is a clean install - which virtually reformats your
hard-drive. You will need to back up all essentials.
