My Outlook cannot open web link in email

Dear Sir/Madam,

My Outlook received html emails which had web link inside such as http:...
But when i click it, only an blank IE open, it don't go to the corresponding
url and finish with blank page.
How to solve it?

I am using Windows XP and Office XP.

Reset your Internet Explorer settings in Control Panel-> Internet Options.
Start with the Security tab-> select icon Internet-> button Default Level
