My Outlook 2000 SR-1 and Active Sync 4.5 no longer compatible

My Outlook 2000 used to synchronize with my new PDA which has a Windows
Mobile Office program, but now it does not. Active Sync troubleshooter
claims I have to have an Outlook XP or higher program. Is that true?
 
Yes, you were lucky to get it to sync at all in the first place. Didn't your PDA come with a newer version of Outlook, at least 2002? What brand is it?
