My live preview is also not working, and is in fact greyed out so I am not
able to enable this feature. I had a complaint from a user and was able to
resolve it for them by using a new profile. Repair/diagnostics made no
difference and I found this support article but it is not my issue:

This suggests that maybe an application installed on these computers - like
"Live Meeting" or "Communicator" is disabling the animations.
I just had another user report it so if anyone knows the resolution please
share!
