My MS update page is blank, no display

I'm going crazy, I can't figure out why my MS update page is blank. Any help
is appreciated. I have no blockers enabled, but can't load or run Norton as
well, all my virus checks are negative. Do I reinstall my Win XP Home
OS????...Peter

If you can't load or run Norton (what version?), then how are you
checking for viruses so that you know the checks are negative?

Go through these steps systematically, starting with a scan using either
Sysclean or David Lipman's Multi_AV:

Make sure you do the preparatory work.
