Hello Everyone....

Another Newbie taking the plunge!! And looks like the initial dive is a
belly flop!!

Have been doing my homework and studying up on Access, all ready to roll,
and no sooner have I opened the application and begun to create my first
database when I notice that my MS Office Access 2003 application is
displaying Database (Access 2000 file format) in the Windows Title Bar...

Kinda Confusing! Any thoughts.......
Thanks in Advance

Access 2002 (a.k.a. XP) and 2003 use the Access 2000 file format as the
default. You can change this in Tools|Options|Advanced tab. The advantage of
the 2000 file format is that as long as you don't use any new functionality
that 2000 wouldn't recognize, the file will be backwards compatible. There
are a couple of things that require the 2002/2003 file format and you can
always convert the file to it if you need to.
