Right click on the area where they are supposed to appear, and check the boxes for them to re-appear.

In Windows Explorer Find and delete the file hidden file CMDUI.PRF
Usually in %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\FrontPage\State
Then restart FP

Thanks for your help, but my problem is still not resolved
What is missing is the bar that has the commands file, edit, view, insert, format, tools, frames, table, window, help. The shotcut icons still show. But there are so many commands within the main ones I listed, I will never fit all o f them. I just want my menus back :(. Anyone else have ideas

Thanks
Tin

Have you tried the usual repairs

Reboot

1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files

2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files

3) In Windows Explorer Find and delete the file CMDUI.PRF

4) Disable or Uninstall any FP Addins

5) Run a Repair / Reinstall on FP & IE

6) Install all Service Packs for your OS, IE, and MS Office

Reboot

If not working reinstall FP

Reboot

Right click in the tool bar area and select Customize
On the Toolbars tab make sure Menu Bar is selected

Perhaps it was moved over by another toolbar. First check customize and see if menu bar is checked
Then try draging the handlebars.
