My menu bar is gone. How can I restore it?

I've looked for .xlb's and followed the other postings. However, my Excel
alpha menu bar is just gone.
 
Right click on a toolbar and select customize. Click the TOOLBARS tab and
scroll down the list until you find WORKSHEET MENU BAR. Click the checkbox
to turn it back on and click the CLOSE command button.
