I'm sorry but this is not enough information for us to help you. We don't
know anything about:

1. Your computer
2. How you got Vista (preinstalled, did it yourself)
3. Your Internet connection (method and equipment)
4. If the issue happens only with IE (install Firefox from www.mozilla.com
if you don't have it so you can test this)
5. The First and Second Questions of Troubleshooting.

The First Question Of Troubleshooting: what changed between the time things
worked and the time they didn't?

The Second Question of Windows Troubleshooting: what is the malware/virus
status of the machine? If you think it is clean, what programs (and
versions) did you use to determine this?

My recommendation: install a good HOSTS file. Google "hosts file" and use
the mvps hosts file per simple directions. Nevertheless, you may have some
bad malware on your system already. Good luck.
