I cannot change any settings for this Zone at all. I don't know where it came
from as I have two other machines running XP SP2 that don't have these icons.
I am running a home network through a Netgear Router. I have also run a Virus
Scan (nod32) and a Spyware scan (Adaware and MS Ant-Spyware) and found no
problems.

I also have a proble where I can see other PC's on my network but cannot
connect to them.

You have to give more info.
"MY IE Security Zone has an icon called Your Computer". That would be "My
Computer" to you, "Your Computer" to a Program on your computer.

ALL of your computers have this zone. See here:

http://www.tweakxp.com/article37525.aspx

Why it's Showing is another question. 2nd part--depending on what program
is "Seeing" other Computers, this may not be unusual, either. And you'd have
to be Networked with the other 'puters to connect with them. It does't just
happen.

You have to give more info.
All computers have same Windows version? Same IDENTICAL software? Etc, etc,
etc.....

The icon is call YOUR COMPUTER using the same logo as the Restricted icon
uses. I know there can be an icon called MY COMPUTER which uses its own icon,
this is why I posted this question about this paticular icon as I have never
seen this before.

The PC does not run any software that is different to any of the other PC's.
The only difference is it is a new PC recently installed and loaded by CD,
not via a network image. All PC's are running XP SP2 with Office 2003 SP2.

I did install all the updates and Office before I loaded the Virus Scanner,
this is why I iniatilly thought it may be a Virus or Trojan that has been
laoded as I am unable to alter any of the Zone settings under YOUR COMPUTER.
