Everytime I try to open ie I get a window that reads:

'Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.'

Does anyone know what I need to do about this

Hi there Jason,

By clicking on the provided link in the error reporting tool window, you can
access details of the error message AND you will be given the opportunity to
send a report to Microsoft. Some people prefer to disable the tool.
Instructions for the various operating systems can be found at the link

Go into internet properties advanced sttings and un-check
the "Enable third party Extensions" this should do it.
I've had the same problem for days and this fixed it for
me. Good Luck.
