I am pretty sure this is the right place to post this but
am not completly sure. I am trying to mainly share my
printer which is connected to my desktop downstair
through my wireless network to my laptop. Aside from
that, I am try to share file as well. I have followed
many step by step processes but nothing seem sto work.

I have enabled shareing with my printer on my desktop and
on my laptop I try to add a printer not connected to this
computer, it detects the desktop and then I type the
printer name in and it says I have eithertyped the name
incorrectly (which I diddnt) or it has lost connection.
And it hasnt either. Can anyone help me?

Secondly, I go into network places on my laptop and and
can see all computer on my network but while I go onto my
desktop it shows a timer and gives me an error. My other
problem with file sharing is while I am on my laptop and
go to the computer list on my network and says I need
permission to access my desktop however I am the
administator and would like to find out how to allow
myself to access the computer's shared file from my
laptop.
