My home network and multiple profiles with Outlook

I just bought two Dells with XP and Office (Small
Business) 2003 and plan to wireless network my wife's and
my computer with mine being the base station or hub. (by
the way, I'm a computer illiterate, so bear with me) I
have created individual profiles for my wife and I on my
computer.

My Outlook question for anyone is this: When I get my
wife's computer up and running with a wireless network and
she downloads Outlook e-mail while logged in on her
computer under her profile, where is her Outlook personnal
data (messages, calander, address book) stored? If it's
stored on her hard drive, then when she uses Outlook while
logged in on my computer under her profile she won't be
able to access any of her data or will she?

Another way to ask the question is this: Is there some
way to make my drive the "LAN" drive (even though we're
only talking about two computers). Is "Map Network Drive"
how you would solve this and if so, is there any way for
her data to be simultaneously saved on the "LAN" drive and
her drive (in case my computer (the hub) is shut down for
some reason)?

In plain English, do you want to use your machine as a server or as a
workstation? Will you be installing office on both computers? Do you
envision having data local or stored on a network drive?

I am having a problem envisioning what exactly you want to accomplish with
your scenario.

First, thanks for the quick reply.

My wife's computer will be used as a workstation and mine
will be the server (Wireless router will be attached to
mine). XP Home and Office Small Business 2003 will be on
both computers. I want both of our data shared and
accessible from either computer. I assume that means my
computer (the server) will have it's C drive used as the
network drive since I don't accually own a seperate LAN
drive. (I may be completely out to lunch here, so bear
with me)

Basically, I want my wife and I to be able to log in on
either computer under our individual profiles and, on
either computer, have access to our own Outlook profiles
data (e-mail, calendar, address book etc).

My original question addressed the following situation:
If my wife logs in on her computer and downloads a few
messages, changes her schedule etc. then, for some reason,
logs in on my computer later, will she be able to review
the messages/changes she previously made on her computer?

I would also like for both of us to be able to share one
common address book from either computer.

Additionally, I have two Dell Windows-based PDAs that I
want to be able sync with each of our profiles. In other
words, my wife and I both need to be able to sync our
individual PDAs with our own individual Outlook Profiles.

Have I just confused you more??? Please Help, and thanks
again in advance.
