My HD loses 8gig overnight!!!

Whenever i leave my computer on for more than a few hours
it seems to lose all of its HD space that's available??
Last night i had 8 gig free space, this morning woke up
to find it had ran outta space, and i was only
downloading a few mp3s!!! I'm puzzled as to where this
space is dissappearing to?? I't is fixed after a reebot..

HELP!!!
 
Windows uses a "swap" file which the standard settings cause this file to
expand. That is the way Windows works.
