My FIND tab does not function right

I have Word 2003. Lately that tab has not stored my latest documents, I cant
SEND emails with attachments, I cant transfer files to other locations and I
dont have the number of choices on the drop-down menu of FIND as I originally
had. I deleted the program and reinstalled it and I still have the same
problem. I just want to restore Word to its original functionality.
 
There is no dropdown find menu in Word 2003, so it would help if you
explained *exactly* what you are doing - or trying to do.

Sounds like the File menu was meant.
