My drives aren't enabled? How to fix!

I tried to open a DVD labeling program I have called Sonic Digital Media
Plus, and I received this error message:

"All your drives are set to disabled. On this operating system [WinXP Home
Ed.], in order to start you must physically remove your drive(s) or enable at
least one drive."

I have never received a message like this before, though I did reformat my
computer last night, so that probably has something to do with it.

Is it just the program? Or does anyone know how to go about "enabling" my
drive(s)?

Thanks.

Go to run,type:diskmgmt.msc In msc,L.click a drive,go to actions,all,select
"make drive active"

Hmmm I tried that, and the only drive I had listed was my C: drive and it
appeared to be active already.. could it be that the program needs a CD rom
or something to function? and does my C: drive being
partitioned/non-partitioned make any difference?
